We have completed the P4 CA1 Top School 2016 papers but I did not create a Vocabulary list for them from this set of papers as I felt the words were too easy. Instead, we have been working on the P5 Vocabulary Lists and we have also begun working on the P5 Booklet A of the Top School Papers.
After going through the sets of the P4 SA1 papers I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Vocabulary MCQ section gets quite challenging indeed. In fact, some of the words are found in the P5 papers. This will challenge my students, especially in the Vocabulary sections but I am a little baffled by the jump in the level of difficulty from CA1 to SA1. I guess it depends on each school’s objectives as the papers are set and vetted.
In any case, I have created a P4 Vocabulary List below and hope it benefits P4 students out there. I have also included some vocabulary from the Comprehension Section. Please take note, some words have more than one meaning but I have chosen the meanings that are suitable to the sentences given.
