This Workshop is for students who will be in P4 in 2025.
This Primary 4 writing two-day workshop targets the following English Language components:
- One writing technique review (Developing a theme in a composition plot)
- One composition writing each day
- Marking and feedback will be provided by the teacher
- Composition models & notes will be provided
- Review of common grammar mistakes
- P4 Grammar MCQ and Cloze practices
- Review of comprehension techniques and question types.
- P4 comprehension passages practices

- Explanation of types of words to fill in the blanks
- Guidance on looking for contextual clues

Students will learn how to identify the following:
- Types of possible words that can fit in a blank e.g. nouns, adverbs
- Types of Contextual Clues e.g. Phrasal Verbs, Collocations
Students will then practice guided Cloze passages.
Students will learn how to:
- Read to understand the passage
- Identify question types e.g. Inferential, Cause & Effect
- Answer question types
Students will then practice Comprehension Open-ended passages.
- Review common & uncommon Synthesis & Transformation rules.

P5 ENGLISH ORAL ONLINE WORKSHOP
THIS WORKSHOP IS FULLY BOOKED.
This two-day workshop covers:
- How to use the TREES approach for SBC questions
- 4 Oral themes
- Key Oral questions and how to answer them
- Ways to ace the PSLE Reading passages using PIF
- Students will be tested on the Reading & SBC components individually.
- Marks, feedback and the model answers for the tests will be emailed to the parents after each test session.
- The timing will be set for each student.
- For example, student 1 will be given the 11am – 11.10 am timing slot.
- The student must then re-enter the zoom workshop at that time to be tested.
- Parents may request for an earlier or later timing slot.

PSLE ENGLISH ORAL ONLINE WORKSHOP

This two-day workshop covers :
- Explanation of the TREES approach
- Practice of 6 oral themes
- Discussion on key Oral questions for PSLE SBC
- We will present the best ways to ace the PSLE Reading passages using PIF
- Each student will be tested individually
- Each student will be tested individually twice (one test per day)
- Feedback and marks will be written on an Oral Feedback Form and sent to the parents
- Model for each oral tests will also be sent for students to file them away for revision before examination
