Today marks the start of Revision Week for all PSLE students this year. In the last lesson with my PSLE students, I worked on planning the Preliminary Composition themes that my students were tested on this year. Planning such themes out just before every examination allows students the opportunity to share ideas and for me to suggest better ways to write on a theme. A number of my students hit their target goals for composition this preliminary examination by scoring 34 – 37 marks. Sharing to their classes what they wrote about, was a good way to motivate other students to reach their goals for PSLE and give them different ways of viewing plots.
Planning out the composition themes on the list can also be a form of revision for you.
